GraphDive Goes Public with Social Media Analyzer

People are sharing more information than ever before on social networks such as Facebook, Google+ and Twitter (News - Alert). With that in mind, GraphDive has publicly launched its enterprise solution – a platform that, prior to this announcement, was available on an invite-only basis.

Prospective GraphDive customers can now sign up directly and use the self-service dashboard to collect powerful insights on their users.

GraphDive is a company that turns the exploding data-verse of social information into useful insights for business. The company analyzes social media activity by online users through tools like Facebook (News - Alert).

Its solutions integrate social data to personalize business offerings and engage those users.

"By implementing our solution, retailers are able to generate more transactions earlier in the shopper life cycle and increase the lifetime value of their existing customers," Shahram Seyedin-Noor, cofounder and chief executive officer at GraphDive, said in a statement.

GraphDive has been delivering two key services: macro user insights and segmentation for marketing, and micro personalized offers for customer targeting. The firm’s macro segmentation of users is noted to provide businesses with deep, actionable insights that help inform future marketing campaigns.

Also, the company’s proprietary knowledge graph turns social media communication into inferred user interests and demographic data for which online businesses are always on the lookout.

In regard to its micro personalization of offers, the company is aimed at solving two key problems for online businesses: the “cold start” problem of what to show new users who have no prior shopping history, and the “hook” needed to turn one-time customers into repeat buyers.

"We've developed algorithms that make powerful inferences, like guessing a user's age with over 90 percent accuracy," remarked Sina Sohangir, cofounder and chief technology officer at GraphDive.

In addition to going public, GraphDive has launched its new app for Magento that will enable Magento-based websites to use GraphDive to gain actionable user insights from social media activity.

"Any of the 125,000 e-commerce sites powered by Magento can now use GraphDive to transform their understanding of their users and enhance the user experience on their site," Seyedin-Noor added.

Back in October, GraphDive announced funding for social API, launched personalization platform for e-commerce, media and travel.
