United Allergy Services (UAS) has selected Birst’s business intelligence (BI) solution to combine and analyze data from Salesforce.com (News - Alert) and other key applications.
UAS empowers physicians and health systems to deliver safe and effective allergy testing and customized immunotherapy services.
UAS selected Birst (News - Alert) because it quickly and easily integrates with Salesforce.com. The integration provides benefits such as a pre-built dimensional model and report content, as well as enterprise-class BI functionality with the security and reliability UAS requires as a healthcare provider.
Company officials said that Birst will also enable UAS to create a broad view of company performance by combining information from Salesforce.com with data from other applications, as well as spreadsheets and other types of documents.
With faster, easier access to the meaningful reporting and analysis provided by Birst, UAS expects to greatly decrease time spent on reporting, while increasing the efficiency of its inventory management.
“Our associates at Salesforce.com endorsed Birst because it not only fully integrates with their application, but also provides the comprehensive functionality we need,” said Gilbert Garza, director of technology services, United Allergy Services, in a statement.
“Birst is going to bring together our data to give us a better look at the big picture—and what it means for our business,” said Garza.
“Today, more than 100,000 companies rely on Salesforce.com to track and manage sales, service, marketing, and other activities,” said Brad Peters, CEO of Birst.
Peters said that Birst taps into the resulting goldmine of information, combining it with data from other applications to generate actionable insight that leads to improved business results.
Earlier in October, Birst Inc., a provider of agile business analytics, announced Birst Big Data Services, the industry’s first end-to-end solution to turn large volumes of unstructured data into analytic applications.
