Access Unveils Formatta Electronic Forms Management Suite 8.0
By Raju Shanbhag
“Paperless” is the buzzword you often hear from your service provider, who is encouraging you to drop paper forms and use e-forms in the interest of resource efficiency. Apart from doing your part for the environment, using e-forms instead of traditional paper forms has its own advantages.
You can fill those forms faster, thanks to the associated programs and you can send them faster through e-mails.
If companies sought more encouragement, here’s some: Access, a provider of enterprise forms management software, has unveiled Formatta Electronic Forms Management Suite 8.0.
Formatta is used by numerous companies all over the world to get rid of the financial, environmental and productivity expenses of paper-driven forms processes.
Features of Formatta EFM Suite 8.0 include a new enterprise content management integration engine, which enables all completed forms, attachments and data to be securely sent into the ECM system. The integration engine allows connectors to be created rapidly.
It also has a feature to use the Formatta iFiller Web-based forms component with Microsoft (News - Alert) Internet Explorer 10, along with the latest versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Formatta from Access is a complete suite of e-forms management software products. This software has the ability to change any paper-driven forms process into an electronic, paperless one.
Formatta provides components such as Designer, E-Forms Manager, iFiller and Filler.
“Formatta 8.0 enables organizations in any industry to integrate powerful e-forms technology with their existing ECM and business systems, which increases return on investment,” said Access founder and CEO, Tim Elliott. “This release is another example of how Access solutions help companies go paperless and close the gaps between their applications, content and people.”
Recently, Mercy Regional Health Center (MRHC) selected Access Intelligent Forms Suite to produce electronic forms on demand, which are sent into EHRs without indexing through easy combination with the hospital’s Perceptive Content system.
MRHC has used Access and its paperless e-forms and workflow suite, Evolution. Human resources (HR) was the first department to roll out this solution.
