Lane Uses Online Solution from Joseph Merritt Company, Improves Customer Service at Lower Operating Costs

The Lane Construction Corporation specializes in transportation and heavy civil construction products and services. One of the challenges facing the company is to constantly keep marketing collateral current and consistent for its numerous field offices.

This is an extremely challenging task, and the company sought to come up with a cost-effective solution that enabled it to get done very quickly.

Lane completed its research and then decided to collaborate with Joseph Merritt Company to leverage its print on demand services, powered by Web to Print portals. Merritt’s portals will allow Lane employees to order print marketing materials on a required basis, and deliver the same to any part of the globe.

Lane has found that the turnaround time on these print projects is extremely good, enabling them to reduce maintaining a large stock of printed items. This allows Lane to prevent old marketing materials from piling up, reducing waste and keep its marketing new.

The user-friendly one-stop shopping allows us to order and ship any materials to our various locations throughout the country and even internationally. The order tracking feature allows for us to easily check the progress of an order.”

Now that Lane has managed to get all its services done by a single printing company, the company’s marketing department can be confident that presentation folders in their North Carolina office and the sell sheets in their Illinois office will maintain uniform branding, and not differ with regard to consistent paper stock and print quality. This well let sales personnel in one office make use of the sell sheets obtained from another office, in combination with print materials from their local branch without issues – thereby allowing them to complete a professional and cohesive presentation.
