As a leading Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) Cloud service provider, PeakColo delivers what organizations need for their cloud applications from A to Z. The migration to cloud by organizations small and large is not a fad that will soon fade away. Cloud integration provides multiple benefits so companies can focus on their business applications instead of worrying about the problems related to IT.

The addition of the Chicago node and the partnership with PlusOne, a data center solutions provider, gives the company a strong presence in this region.

The company provides its own cloud services with data centers in geographical locations in the U.S. and Europe (Chicago, Denver, New Jersey, New York, Seattle and the United Kingdom). Having its own data centers with tens of thousands of virtual machines and petabytes of storage gives it the leverage it needs to make decisions without outside interference regarding fees and services.

It is VMware vCloud Powered as well as a Platinum-level NetApp service provider.

"Interest in PeakColo's white-labeled cloud services has grown exponentially. Our customers demand presence throughout the US, and the addition of our Chicago cloud node ensures we remain one of the fastest enterprise clouds in the marketplace. The opportunity to accomplish this expansion with PlusOne not only supports our business model but also enhances it with their exemplary operational model," said Luke Norris, CEO and founder of PeakColo.

PlusOne provides data center solutions for organizations with mission-critical applications that rely on uptime 100 percent of the time. It provides space, redundant power and cooling, 24/7/365 dedicated onsite staff, 10Gbps+ bandwidth and other colocation services.

The company has facilities in Atlanta and Chicago.

"By retaining complete control of our mission-critical infrastructure, PlusOne can assure its customers that all aspects of the datacenter are operated and maintained at the high standards necessary to meet their uptime requirements," said PlusOne vice president, Ronnie Sebren.
