TMCnet Call Center Software Week in Review

Lots of companies made announcements this week regarding their approach to customer service and implementation of call center software. Many enterprises main goals for becoming and remaining successful rely on customer satisfaction.


Just this week, WUN Systems, Inc. revealed its plans on addressing an increased demand for customer service. According to reports, the company has “effectively enhanced its workspace and business center customer service approach to address the growing demands of modern workspaces,.”

Wun System’s plan is to integrate this new technology into all of its workspaces and business centers, improving flexibility, portability, and customer service.

In addition, for iQor (News - Alert), a global provider of intelligent customer interaction and outsourcing solutions, the only was to keep up with technology is to buy it. The company revealed this week that it finalized an acquisition deal with CCT Group, a source of dedicated, shared and hybrid contact center outsourcing solutions.

“The acquisition of CCT Group is part of our strategic plan to apply our technology-enabled solutions and deep analytics capabilities to a broader platform,” commented Norm Merritt, president and CEO at iQor. “We believe acquiring CCT will expand our abilities to offer our respective clients a wider range of technology-enabled solutions and Big Data analysis into the increasingly complex customer experience.”

his deal means big things for iQor, bolstering iQor’s technology offerings while expanding its global footprint in Latin America and the Philippines.

Closing out the week it was revealed that Cyara Solutions (News - Alert) hired William Aston as its new general manager and vice president of Field Operations to help grow its customer base throughout the country.

In his new role, Aston and his team will work together to serve and grow Cyara business in the Americas among new and existing customers including financial services companies, telcos, utilities and government agencies.”

The current CEO of Cyara, Alok Kulkarni (News - Alert), said he could not be happier with the decision to go with Aston. He stated, “Bill Aston’s excellent track record in exceeding quotas in enterprise software sales and his leadership experience building winning teams will serve us well in solidifying our foothold in the U.S. market.”
