CompanionLink Unveils DejaOffice CRM for a Phablet

CompanionLink Software has enhanced DejaOffice CRM with the introduction of a Mobile Productivity Suite especially made for “Phablet” devices. The organization has merged CompanionLink Synchronization with a competent mobile application ideal for phones with big screens. A large-screen phone platform has been initiated by the Samsung (News - Alert) Galaxy Note, commonly known as phablet. Customized font and scaling choices are offered by DejaOffice, allowing mobile users to leverage this phablet platform.

In a statement, Wayland Bruns, CTO of CompanionLink Software said, "High resolution is useless on a two-inch wide screen. Shifting focus from documents to phone should not require that you change glasses. The phablet format, with screens as large as three inches wide, offers an ideal solution that fits in your shirt pocket yet is large enough to easily tap on calendar events and contact records, and to read notes and maps when I go to an appointment."

A PC-style CRM experience will now be offered by DejaOffice on the Galaxy Note II and other Android devices along with the iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry and Windows Phone (News - Alert) devices. A single application comprising of Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Memos will be provided by DejaOffice. The application will make use of colored categories, frequent tasks, and password-protected memos. Desktop synchronization will also be offered by CompanionLink to the majority of universal PC applications like Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook, Sage ACT!, IBM Lotus Notes, Novell GroupWise, Palm Desktop, Time and Chaos among others.

Using a single license of CompanionLink for Outlook, users are allowed installation on a maximum of three computers. The license, which has been priced at $14.95, will also comprise of technical assistance on the phone and setup aid.
