Crowdsourcing: Finding the Right Person for the Right Job

When you go to work each day, how productive are you? If you work in sales, for instance, you may do a lot of administrative tasks that don’t involve actually going out and selling. These are important tasks that have to get done, but they may be taking time away from selling.
The ultimate problem is that you are spending a smaller percentage of your day on the high value/ROI responsibilities, and this must be fixed.
“There comes a time when you just don’ t have enough time to do everything,” explained Alexis Rivas, CEO, BPO Innovations, at a Latin Communications Conference and Expo this afternoon in Miami. “Every day, you interact with many platforms and services that are part of the cloud, but how much more productive do these tools make you?”
Although there are responsibilities that are very important in the operation of a business, many can be outsourced and still done successfully. These include data entry and analysis, invoicing and fulfillment, customer service, expense reports, creative services, software development, data compilation and manipulation, and much more.
You can find people out there do these things for you through crowdsourcing on programs such as Elance, CrowdFlower, Freelanceswitch and even Craigslist. “But, you may not be finding the right person that you need to have a more productive and efficient business,” said Rivas.
You are sending a task to someone, and there’s no guarantee of how they are going to carry it out – there’s a disconnect there. Additionally, your confidential information is out there because you’re trying to cut cost and be more efficient.
“There is no way to do quality control and mange what they are doing,” commented Greg Evans, online media operations manager, BPO Innovations.
So what’s the solution?
In the U.S., there are a lot of people doing freelance work today. But BPO Innovations is a company that brings outsourcing solutions to the table that work. When the company engages with its customers in the U.S., it tells them exactly what can and cannot be outsourced.
Rivas explained, “We find a person or a company that you can trust and builds a bridge for you that narrows the gap between the cultural difference and the work.”
