InetSoft Enhances its BI Software Suite with Collaborative BI Capabilities
By Sujata Garud
InetSoft Technology, a provider of data mashup driven dashboard and reporting solutions, has released its enhanced version of Style Intelligence 11.4, a business intelligence software suite. The new enhancements include annotations, shared bookmarks, and search.
The Style Intelligence solution is embedded with a powerful data mashup engine and is used for dashboard reporting. The reporting is visually compelling with highly interactive access to data making it easier for end users. The application's SOA architecture and open standards-based technology are easier to embed with the integration-ready applications. Moreover, the data mashup capabilities enable integration of different data sources, and adopting agile methodology.
Annotations enable the users to post comments on any dashboard element for others to read.
Bookmarks allow users to save current settings for the future and can also share it with others. With the help of the search function, users can search across report meta data such as titles and descriptions, making previous work easily discoverable and saving duplication of effort.
Mark Flaherty, chief marketing officer at InetSoft, said, “With the aim of business intelligence tools to help people make better decisions faster, these feature additions fit in nicely. The more we can facilitate information sharing and streamline people’s efforts using our software, the more return our customers get out of their investment.”
Recently, InetSoft was in news when AIM Consulting, a top technology solutions and services company, selected the company’s Style Intelligence. With this, AIM Consulting looks to handle the BI functions of an important telecommunications carrier. Business Intelligence (BI) helps a company in its strategic planning process, and the companies that offer these services smile all the way to the bank.
InetSoft’s Style Intelligence was chosen because of its flexibility in configuration and robust reporting capabilities. To produce various reports and dashboards from numerous data sources, the software will be utilized every day.
