Aspect Software Appoints Paul Thomas as Vice President for Northern Europe

Paul Thomas has been appointed vice president for Northern Europe by Aspect (News - Alert) Software, a provider of fully-integrated customer interaction management, workforce optimization, and back-office solutions.


In his new role, Thomas will be responsible for leading and driving the sales, pre-sales and marketing activity within Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Thomas, who has more than 20 years’ experience with a background in telecommunications and contact center technologies, has held a variety of senior sales management positions for sales across EMEA.

Most recently, Thomas was vice president, EMEA at Voxeo (News - Alert), a provider of hosted and on-premise Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solutions and a platform provider for communications enabled business processes. Aspect acquired Voxeo in July 2013.

“The enthusiasm and skill of the Voxeo employee base has been a very welcomed addition to our efforts in the European and African markets,” said Mark King, senior VP Europe and Africa at Aspect, in a statement.

King said that Thomas is an experienced and knowledgeable contact center professional and the company is pleased to have him join the team to build on the strong network of customers, partners and contacts that Aspect has throughout Northern Europe.

He said that Paul Thomas takes an end-to-end view of all solutions with a passion for successful customer implementations, while providing a true personal customer experience, and will be instrumental in leading high profile sales engagements.

Paul Thomas said that Aspect is a leading provider in its industry and demonstrates both innovation as well as a deep understanding of what today’s consumers demand from the companies that they deal with.

“I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to help keep Aspect at the top of its game and exceed company goals as we revolutionize the industry by providing an innovative omni-channel solution that dramatically improves the customer experience, [and] creates loyalty to the brand while reducing the cost to serve,” he said.

Earlier in September, Aspect Software had announced the appointment of Kenneth Ewell to the position of senior vice president, Worldwide Professional Services. Ewell will be responsible for Aspect’s Professional Services’ processes, people and knowledge across the organization, as well as leading the launch of Aspect’s new and enhanced service delivery framework.

Ewell began his career in operations and marketing at Bell Atlantic and has advised communications clients for the past 18 years as a Partner at IBM and Waterstone Management Group as well as stints at Deloitte (News - Alert) and Gemini Consulting.
