Metro One (News - Alert) said that it has developed a new Counts and Order System that enables marketers to perform a quick query to identify the number of recent movers in any given geography.

Once the prospects are identified, marketers can then order the contact lists on a self-serve basis at any time, from their own computer. .

According to estimates, approximately 15 to 20 million households and businesses relocate annually. The Counts and Order System helps marketers tap into this market which is said to be a prime database for marketing goods and services.

“This system will help more marketers not only reach the lucrative market of people and businesses that have moved recently, but do so in a way that is more convenient and more targeted than ever before,” said Jim Hensel, CEO at Metro One Telecommunications (News - Alert).

Metro One's platform allows users to refine their search using home values, renter/owner status and several other criteria.

In addition to Metro One's residential database, the company has included more than a dozen business-related data sets to the new resource. Officials said that this will help marketers target the estimated 20 percent of businesses that relocate annually, such as medical doctors, dentists, nurses, chiropractors, truckers, truck fleet operators, lawyers, and government agencies.

Last month, the company introduced its Internal Do-Not-Call (IDNC) Cleanse product that helps telemarketers by identifying numbers in their internal do-not-call files that have been surrendered, and returning those numbers to the pool of active prospects.

Mark your calendars for INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO — the biggest and most comprehensive IP communications event of the year.  ITEXPO (News - Alert) will take place in Los Angeles, California, September 16-18, 2008, featuring three valuable days of exhibits, conferences, and networking opportunities you can’t afford to miss.
