NEI Starts Trading under the New Ticker

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

NEI, a provider of server-based application platforms, appliances, and lifecycle support services for software developers and OEMs, announced that NASDAQ Stock Market has approved a change in the Company’s ticker symbol. Earlier the company was trading under the ticker “NENG.”

The company will trade under the ticker “NEI (News - Alert)” in NASDAQ Global Markets beginning Oct 1, 2010. This short ticker will help it to be identified uniquely in the trade market, according to company officials.

NEI claims to be the best in technology expertise, turnkey application platforms, purpose-built appliances, smart services and global logistics. The company takes a holistic lifecycle approach to solution design. It offers leading-edge standard technologies to build custom solutions backed by expert support staff and smart services.

NEI solutions enable customers to solve deployment challenges, accelerate time to market, reduce ownership costs and increase business efficiencies, the company said.

Engagement model of NEI allows selection from a comprehensive set of services designed to augment technology and deployment teams. Project inception of NEI provides design and engineering services that meet stringent industry and international compliance regulations.

Integrated services and solutions from NEI encompass the entire lifecycle and are supported by a disciplined approach to program management that enables flawless delivery of completed solutions.

Commenting on the new NEI ticker change, Greg Shortell, president and chief executive officer of NEI, said, “This change completes our strategic re-branding from Network Engines (News - Alert) to NEI, which better reflects our position as a leading provider of application platforms and lifecycle support services for software technology providers worldwide.”

Recently Intel (News - Alert) selected NEI to become an affiliate member of its Embedded Alliance Program. NEI's involvement in the program benefits enterprise software developers that require the Intel architecture to leverage x86-based ecosystem support and deploy NEI's Element Manager platform for complete lifecycle management of appliance solutions, the company said.
