Appliance Deployment Specialist NEI Becomes a Dell Premier Partner

By Deepika Mala, TMCnet Contributor

Headquartered in Canton, Mass. and a major company in the appliance deployment industry since 1997, NEI (News - Alert) has recently achieved Dell Premier Partnership status.

The Premier Partner designation, the highest level currently available in Dell’s recently announced OEM Partner Program, recognizes companies that have completed Dell (News - Alert) certification and demonstrated continual success with the company’s products.

NEI’s success over the past four years in providing custom design, integration, manufacturing and regulatory testing services for Dell has helped it to attain this prestigious partnership status.

With the help of NEI’s services, Dell has been able to expand its footprint in the telecom and security markets with purpose-built deployment solutions.

As a Dell OEM (News - Alert) Premier Partner, NEI will be granted much greater access to Dell’s technology and resources to deliver an even broader range of value-add solutions. This will enable customers to save time, money and other resources and enhance their competitive advantage.

“Being named a Premier Partner of the Dell OEM Partner Program underscores the value NEI brings to Dell’s products and demonstrates the strength of our relationship with the company,” said Jeff Hudgins (News - Alert), vice president of marketing at NEI, in a press release. “As a key member of the program, we will continue to meet the demanding requirements of the telecommunications and security markets with an enhanced Dell product portfolio.”

Ron Pugh, executive director and general manager, Americas OEM Solutions, Dell, added, “NEI’s status as our highest-level channel partner is a reflection of the company’s outstanding track record and its commitment to our relationship. We are thrilled to have NEI as part of the OEM Partner Program as they will help OEM customers with their unique go-to-market needs while allowing them to deliver innovative products and services faster.”

In related news, NEI recently unveiled new products to speed up adoption of Intel's Xeon Processor (News - Alert) E5-2600 Family. Read the full report here.
