KeyedIn Speeds up Application Development with New KeyedIn Flex Platform

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

The recently unveiled KeyedIn Flex Platform is the new rapid application development platform from KeyedIn Solutions, a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) business solutions. The dynamic Web-based tool is designed to reduce appliance deployment time by nearly two thirds, allowing enterprises  to quickly and easily create and deploy cloud-based enterprise business applications.

While speeding up application development time by 60-70 percent, the Rapid Application Development Platform simultaneously reduces costs and the risks associated with traditional software development processes.

The launch follows the company’s acquisition of Iceberg technology and its Irish-based development team. The acquisition has helped to accelerate KeyedIn’s growth significantly as the company has grown from a startup to having more than 28,000 users and 19 global offices in a little over a year.

Additionally, the Rapid Application Development Platform allows for the expedited development of Web-based business applications, such as CRM, HR, invoicing, workflow, online Forms and portals. The solution can even be seamlessly integrated with other popular business solutions including financial data.

The KeyedIn Flex Platform and the resulting applications are available anytime, anywhere and on any device, the company said.

Karen Adame, chief product officer at KeyedIn, said in a statement, “With the acquisition of the Iceberg technology and development of KeyedIn Flex Platform, KeyedIn Solutions has the platform to not only build new applications, but also to extend existing applications and to provide customers with the tools to modify applications to meet their specific needs.”

“KeyedIn customers will leverage the platform to personalize their implementation of the company’s latest products and partners will be able to use the platform to build extensions to our portfolio of business applications,” Adame added.

The company is releasing KeyedIn Manufacturing, the first of the KeyedIn Flex Platform in February. KeyedIn Manufacturing is a 100 percent cloud-based manufacturing application designed specifically for the small- to mid-sized manufacturing sector.

In November, KeyedIn Solutions released KeyedInSign v2.0 – a Web-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for custom sign manufacturers. The company is touted as delivering end-to-end integration, insight, and control for all facets of the business while providing new data dashboards and reporting capabilities that help companies quickly access and analyze critical data.
