Appliance Deployment Report: Remote Service Implementation Conference is Here

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Remember a while ago we told you about IQPC’s 4th Annual Remote Service Implementation conference? Got it all marked on your calendar? Good. It’s heeeee-re!

So on February 22-24, come to San Francisco, flowers in your hair optional, and hear industry thought leaders in prognostics, data analytics, services marketing and remote tools discuss how to use remote strategies to increase revenue streams, cut costs and maximize product lifecycles in a down economy.

NEI, a vendor of application platforms, appliances and deployment services, has announced that Claire Ortega, its senior services product manager, will present “Maximizing Fully-Secured Solutions for Legacy and New Deployments in a Down Economy” at the 4th Annual Remote Service Implementation conference.

Ortega’s session will explore how using hardware or virtual appliances can provide long-term flexibility in monitoring field units -- specifically lowering operations and service costs with “full lifecycle management, deployment methods, and remote monitoring,” using a variable-cost model for improved economies of scale, according to company officials.

And on March 1 NEI will participate in the RSA (News - Alert) Conference, also in San Fran, for security professionals across the globe. “The focus on cyberthreats grows each day and RSA Conference is the educational and training environment to prepare you to meet these challenges,” organizers say.

IQPC’s Remote Service Implementation conference is a cross-industry remote diagnostics and smart services event for service executives in North America.

NEI sells a suite of services that include design, integration control, support and other value-added service capabilities designed to help customers to more effectively deploy, manage, service and support their solutions. Founded in 1997, NEI is headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts.
