Telovations (News - Alert) has licensed Lyrix’s Mobiso speech-enabled auto attendant solution to power its new Speech Assist service.
Lyrix, a provider of cloud based enterprise communications solutions to SMBs and Fortune 50 Companies worldwide, notes that this initiative introduces a new service that allows users to access a company’s directory through voice prompts from their office or cellular phone.
Telovations' Speech Assist is now powered by Mobiso and it means the company’s business customers will be able to leverage a best-in-class speech enabled auto attendant solution to improve the way they communicate.
Speech Assist delivers several benefits to its users who can dial by voice from office or cell to co-workers instantly. All they have to do is to by simply press a preprogrammed button on their desk or mobile phone and speak the name of the person they want to call.
This service also allows users to access voicemail -- by simply saying, “Voicemail,” and access their entire directory with the push of one button.
“Our customers are always looking for ways to improve their customers’ experience. Lyrix enabled Telovations to add speech recognition capability to our powerful cloud-based auto attendant using our Broadsoft platform and make it even easier for callers to reach the right contact,” said Mark Swanson, Telovations’ CEO. “Callers using mobile phones or Bluetooth devices now have a simpler way to interact with Auto Attendants which creates a better caller experience.”
"Telovations' Speech Assist is one of the most useful voice services to be offered to the hosted VoIP market to date, enabling Telovations' customers to gain a competitive advantage in the ways they service their customers,” said Stewart Hampton, marketing director at Lyrix.
“This service offering should permit companies to create a ‘numberless enterprise,’ allowing employees to be increasingly mobile and still reachable all while maintaining personal phone number privacy. Even with employee churn, that would negatively impact recognition performance with some SEAA solutions, PeopleFind Day2 Linguistics - available only from Lyrix - ensures continuous speech recognition improvement over time.”
