ADP Dealer Services and Cisco (News - Alert) recently announced that they would now be offering dealerships systemized selling and service processes by making use of new video-enabled products such as the Cisco Cius. Dealerships will not only be able to increase their productivity and profit margins, but will also be able to offer their customers an enhanced shopping experience.  

In a release, Dean Bergan, VP of Product Development at ADP Dealer Services, said that, “Many of our customers are primed to seamlessly take this next step as they already have a Cisco network infrastructure in place and have Cisco Unified Communications (News - Alert) Manager and Cisco IP phones already in use. The addition of the Cius mobile collaboration device in key areas will boost productivity. ADP makes it easy for dealers to achieve measurable results and drive additional profit in every area of their operation with innovative solutions to tackle their toughest challenges.”

Dealerships can utilize these collaboration technologies to enhance customer experience and benefit from cost efficiencies by automating the service process leading to greater customer retention and increased profits. Customers will also enhance inter-department communication and communication with other dealerships.

Cisco’s TelePresence makes it possible for customers to take care of financing paperwork at  the local dealership with support from remote Finance and Insurance (F&I) employees which means dealerships benefit from cost savings due to a centralized F&I process.

In other news, ADP Dealer Services recently announced the launch of their next generation web based payroll solution -- Payroll Plus -- to their ADP Drive clients in the U.S.

Payroll Plus is a full-service, outsourced payroll solution customized for dealerships and powered by ADP Employer Services' RUN payroll platform, currently running in over 130,000 businesses.

Because Payroll Plus is web-based, all a dealership needs is access to the Internet to process their payroll.
