Accedian Networks (News - Alert) specializes in performance assured networking for mobile backhaul, business Ethernet and cloud services. These services enable mobile operators and service providers to assure, manage, improve and optimize their Carrier Ethernet and IP network performance.
The company recently announced the launch of Vision Service Performance (Vision SP) to simplify Carrier Ethernet service activation. The solution will help network operators increase their footprint to reach new customers, open new markets and generate new revenue streams.
The new solution offers full support of ITU-T Y.1564 flows, thereby delivering a true centralized Y.1564 validation hub. It also includes EMIX support, automatic configuration of reverse flows, ability to configure thousands of tests per Vision EMS and centralized execution and reporting.
The company’s business Ethernet solution delivers the most precise one-way Ethernet performance measurements while also offering advanced service creation and traffic management capabilities that enable high value SLA-backed services, the company said.
Vision SP accelerates service turn-up by simplifying ITU-T Y.1564 testing and enables network operators to configure tests that encompass multiple test flows that can be run simultaneously. As a result, operators can reduce the time required for validating new services and reducing turn-up costs.
The business Ethernet solution is integrated with its Vision EMS tool set - a centralized management platform for Accedian Networks' MetroNID and MetroNODE10GE performance assurance solutions.
"Assuring the ability of the cell site to simultaneously source high performance traffic from multiple IP locations is a unique key feature of Vision SP; a feature that network operators covet in a complete EMS solution," said Patrick Ostiguy (News - Alert), president and CEO of Accedian Networks, in a statement.
"Being able to fully validate new services from a single end-point with an easy to use tool that provides centralization, archival of birth certificates and time saving test configuration are just a few of the features that make this solution appealing to network operators,” Ostiguy added.
Vision SP has the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent turn-up tests. This feature, combined with its point-and-click operation, allows operators to simultaneously validate multiple remote cell site homing applications. In fact, it can validate up to 20 different cell site locations with up to eight different one-way or two-way flows per location; thus supporting point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations.
