The Interactive Intelligence cloud-based communications as a service solution was selected for the ITEXPO (News - Alert) West’s 2010 Best of Show award in the category of “most innovative service.”
According to TMC CEO and group editor-in-chief, Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), the ITEXPO Best of Show awards held in Los Angeles in November, recognized the product or service that stood out from the competition based on technological achievement and creative features,. INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine editorial staff evaluated the pre-show nominations, and met with vendors to inspect and review the displayed products and services on the first day of the conference.
Tehrani said, “The Interactive Intelligence (News - Alert) Communications as a service solution, or CaaS, won our Best of Show award because it delivers a hosted service that addresses primary buyer concerns of control, security, reliability and flexibility.”
The Interactive Intelligence solution, called CaaS Contact Center, is a hosted, cloud-based set of on-demand services for contact center automation. It is built on an application suite that not only offers scalability but offers more functionality and better ROI than most in-house communications systems. It also offers a single Web portal for centralized end-user administration, configuration and billing.
Commenting on the hosted CaaS solution by Interactive, Tehrani added, “Interactive Intelligence accomplishes this by offering a unique hosted delivery model that enables customers to keep their voice traffic on their network, and record and store all recordings inside their firewall. The solution also features isolated virtualized servers, and the option to migrate from a hosted to a premise-based solution without the need to re-write applications.”
Interactive Intelligence founder and CEO, Dr. Donald E. In a related news release, Software Magazine ranked Interactive Intelligence among the world's 500 largest software and service providers. Interactive Intelligence advanced in this year's ranking for the 10th year in a row, placing 185th with 2009 revenue of $131.4 million.
