Offering improved capabilities for superior project execution, Maxwell Systems has released Maxwell Systems ProContractorMX version 2.5.

Maxwell Systems ProContractorMX is a complete construction software solution that provides end-to-end control of critical business operations – from takeoff and estimating through job cost accounting and project management, and ultimately for critical reporting and analysis.

The new capabilities in ProContractorMX 2.5 include ProContractorMX Connect, which allows access to up-to-date project information whether in the office or in the field. Now, project managers can easily and conveniently access all of their important documents and reports, using the latest mobile devices.

The latest release also provides Document Management capabilities, which helps contractors create, track, organize, and manage the numerous documents associated with every project.

The new release allows contractors to utilize ProContractorMX for electronic tax filing for more seamless and convenient workflow. The solution generates tax file information and can create e-files (or magnetic media) suitable for filing to state and federal agencies after processing payroll.

By easily importing items from a Building Information Modeling or BIM file and populate an estimate with cost items and quantities, contractors can also skip the process of taking off blueprints or digital files.

In November 2010, the company released Maxwell Systems(TM) ProContractorMX(TM) version 2.4, which offers three new capabilities and additional enhancements. An all-in-one construction management solution, ProContractorMX provides end-to-end control from takeoff and estimating through job cost accounting and project management.

The release of 2.4 offers valuable new capabilities (Invitation to Bid, Subcontract Management, and Lien Management) that enable contractors to further streamline critical processes, improve accountability, and increase profitability.
