snom technology’s snom 3xx series IP desktop phone systems are now interoperable with Interactive Intelligence’s (News - Alert) unified business communications solutions, Customer Interaction Center (CIC), according to an announcement by the company.
This grouping of snom phones and Interactive Intelligence’s all-in-one IP communications software suite will offer enterprises and contact centers an affordable, enhanced and streamlined SIP-based unified communications solution that is capable of managing dozens to hundreds of unique endpoints.
“We've worked closely with snom for years to ensure our joint customers get a reliable solution,” said Joe Staples (News - Alert), Interactive Intelligence chief marketing officer. “With snom's completion of interoperability testing, these solutions now offer our joint customers additional support resources for even faster deployment and user satisfaction.”
snom’s products boast of advanced technology and open standards that provide enterprises with feature-rich and cost-effective IP telephony. Its suite of VoIP phones include advanced IP phones like the snom 3xx series; full-color touchscreen desktop phones like the snom 870; wireless DECT (News - Alert) phones, such as the m9; and the MeetingPhone conferencing phone.
As a developer of the industry’s first SIP-based solutions for endpoints, snom’s endpoints offer mature SIP stacks that allow for simple installation, interoperability throughout the industry, and high-quality sound.
“snom has been committed to interoperability since its inception and this partnership is yet another example of how snom can help make IP telephony deployments better and easier in all kinds of environments,” said Michael Storella, chief operating officer for snom technology. “As a leader in unified communications for both call centers and enterprises, we are pleased and honored to have our products certified by Interactive Intelligence, and we hope to continue our work with them as the industry continues to grow.”
Interactive Intelligence’s CIC is designed as a standards-based, scalable, single-platform solution that offers complete multichannel applications without the high cost and intricacy that comes along with multipoint products. The all-in-one application suite manages all contact center interactions on one platform architected for SIP and VoIP, as reported by TMCnet.
Last week, Interactive Intelligence Middle East exhibited the award-winning CIC at the Middle East Call Centre 2011 conference.
