EFI, a provider of digital printing solutions, announced the launch of Fiery XF proServer, a production solution for EFI VUTEk superwide format UV inkjet printers.

Leveraging the Fiery XF preserver, businesses can benefit from a platform optimized for fast image processing, expanded software options, and support and maintenance that provide an end-to-end EFI solution.

The Fiery XF proServer is designed for optimal performance of the Fiery XF software to provide better RIP speed and printer throughput to increase productivity, performance and efficiency on every job, company officials said.

“Our VUTEk customers operate in high volume, demanding environments,” said Toby Weiss, general manager of the Fiery business unit and senior vice president of EFI, in a statement. “With speeds up to six times faster than our competitors, Fiery XF proServer maximizes throughput and minimizes processing time so customers can increase productivity and ultimately profits.”

Fiery XF proServer is designed to improve printing, production and color capabilities with expanded Fiery XF options. EFI configures the Fiery XF proServer with a VUTEk printer to ensure the whole solution works seamlessly.

The company is providing customers with a free 13-month support and maintenance plan on software and hardware, including free software upgrades and hardware replacement if needed. The Fiery XF proServer comes with an extended version of Fiery XF, an inkjet production RIP solution.

Recently, EFI announced the launch of a new version of its Radius packaging MIS/ERP software solution, offering a fully integrated automation solution ideal for single-site label, flexible packaging, converting and folding carton companies.

The new EFI Radius Small Business Edition comes with a standard suite of modules. It is designed with a streamlined user interface to ensure smaller companies can use the software to improve efficiencies and simplify workflows. It is built on the powerful Radius Enterprise Edition used by larger packaging companies.
