iDatix recently launched version 4.5 of iSynergy, which incorporates mobile capture and enhanced electronic forms, effectively changing the manner in which people get their work done.
The dominant Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Dynamic Case Management software from iDatix are considerably improved in this latest release. The service also includes sophisticated iForms, mCapture and other comprehensive incorporation alternatives.
"We have been scanning documents and moving them around the business electronically for over 25 years, but to match today's speed-of-business we must mobilize content at the earliest opportunity,” said Doug Miles, head of AIIM market intelligence. “The challenge is to capture content closer to the point of origination, routing and monitoring it into the process, and making it available to whoever needs it, wherever they are, and in the shortest possible time."
An all-inclusive, end-to-end ECM solution is available through the new mobile app, which enables remote capture and direct submission into the document management repository and iDatix's workflow automation system, Progression. Thirty-three percent of the AIIM Process Revolution (News - Alert) respondents feel that electronic forms will be used on a mobile device by a majority of employees in the next five years.
"iDatix is truly excited to announce the delivery of iSynergy 4.5,” said Chris Lewis, VP of Operations at iDatix. “This release builds on our industry leading workflow solution with enhanced form design, electronic signatures and enhanced Web service connectivity. We have been eager to bring to market our first iPhone (News - Alert) application, mCapture, which is the most advanced and complete mobile app on the market, allowing complete, end to end content management from capture to routing. iSynergy 4.5 is the first of many developments in our roadmap that will combine the latest usability advancements in mobile technology with our robust workflow solutions to deliver some very cool functionality to businesses."
iDatix has also unveiled its smart iForms technology, extending the current electronic form methods. Users can now use easy-to-use drag-and-drop tools to develop forms inside the browser with iForms. Data from external systems like SAP (News - Alert), Oracle, JDA, LPS and any other customized line of business applications can be automatically pre-filled into the form fields.
