Perceptive Software Customer UWV Wins 2012 Global Awards

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

The Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) initiated a Global Awards program in 2011 for Adaptive Case Management case studies to identify and focus upon ACM use cases.  Adaptive Case Management (ACM), also known as Dynamic or Advanced Case Management, is a new method to support knowledge workers in today's leading edge companies.  The practice of ACM is quickly growing.

Recently, Perceptive Software, a company that provides content and process management products and solutions, announced that its customer UWV Netherlands is the Judges Choice Award winner in the 2012 Global Awards for Excellence in Adaptive Case Management.

The case management system used at UWV is Perceptive Software BPMone. While integrations are supported through BPMone Integration Framework, case design was fully developed and deployed in BPMone. All document output management features are provided with the help of Perceptive Software ModusOne.

UWV is a national company providing employee benefits such as unemployment, health and disability coverage to citizens in the Netherlands. The system was completely renewed and upgraded to a new version in early 2012, having used a process management system since 2001, the company stated in a press release.

“UWV is very deserving of the Judges Choice Award,” said John Hoogland, vice president and general manager, Business Process Management, Perceptive Software. “As an organization, UWV has a clear vision of how to bring customer satisfaction to a new level and optimally support their knowledge workers in doing so. We are proud to have customers like UWV that challenge us to bring both flexibility and efficiency to their most complex business processes.”

Recently, University of Kansas expanded its use of Perceptive Software solutions from a few individual units to a university-wide contract. According to agreement, seven business units will concentrate on improving the efficiency of various business processes. University business units will receive updates to eight core processes, such as in the Comptroller’s Office where Brainware Distiller will be implemented to streamline invoice processing in phase one of the expansion alone.
