Maconomy's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) accounting software solution from Deltek offers a natural relationship between people and processes in Professional Services Organizations. Recently, the company announced that Norwegian research foundation Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Center (NERSC) has installed the Deltek Maconomy enterprise solution to improve the control its budget and cost. The company is also looking to improve its project management and resource planning processes and optimize visibility across its entire organization.
NERSC is using Deltek Maconomy to channelize its funding-process, enhance project accounting and better automate its financial management processes. Better able to administer budgets throughout its organization, The Foundation now has much greater visibility and control over its project management processes. Also, to gain complete insight into its overall performance through extensive reporting, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis, NERSC is also using Deltek Maconomy Business Performance Management, the company stated in a press release.
