The Kofax Mobile Capture software solution has seen rapid growth since its release in June. A specialist in Capture-enabled BPM (business process management) solutions, Kofax recently announced that four global customers will deploy the software to increase customer engagement.
“The mobile applications market is currently in its early stages and poised for explosive growth,” said Drew Hyatt, senior vice president of Mobile Applications at Kofax. “More businesses are telling us how they want to use Kofax Mobile Capture to automatically capture information at the ‘Point of Origination’ using cameras in smart phones or tablets to speed business processes and become more responsive to their customers. We already have prospective users testing and evaluating Kofax Mobile Capture for mortgage applications, insurance claims, expense management, proof of delivery and accounts payable.”
The Kofax Mobile Capture software will be deployed by a leading independent software vendor (ISV) delivering advanced transportation and logistics solutions. The vendor will leverage the Kofax Mobile Capture software development kit (SDK) to introduce capture capabilities within its mobile applications.
Drivers will be able to use the cameras of their smartphones to upload delivery receipt images, speeding up invoicing and cash collections processes.
A North American regional government agency overlooking workplace health insurance programs will use Kofax Mobile Capture, Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation Modules for processing 12 million medical claims, as well as the related documents to optimize efficiency, and improve its claims processing speeds as well as its responsiveness.
A Middle East petroleum and chemicals production company will use Kofax Mobile Capture across remote employee service terminals to drive internal business processes, which can help enhance efficiency and bring down costs.
A Middle East-based mobile telecommunications services provider will also be deploying Kofax Mobile Capture to enable its sales staff in capturing supporting documents from customers on location.
Kofax Mobile Capture provides Capture Enabled BPM capabilities within smartphones and tablet computers and makes it possible for customers to use their device cameras for capturing images of documents, photographs and data. This can then be delivered to Kofax workflows responsible for enterprise applications and repositories.
