Bell and Howell, a leading provider of solutions and services for paper-based and digital messaging, and Lasermax Roll Systems, a global supplier of automated paper handling, converting and quality assurance systems for high-speed digital printing operations, recently announced that Bell and Howell will serve as the distributor for the North American markets for WebVision, a digital print quality assurance system.
WebVision performs instant analysis on monochrome or color digital printers, ensuring quality print results. It is a powerful quality platform that complements today’s high-speed digital presses, and also connects these process areas into larger enterprise-workflow solutions. In addition, WebVision enhances your workflow and reduces labor requirements. Integrated with high-speed digital printers, WebVision systems provide 100 percent quality control at full production speed.
Les Stern, chief executive officer of Bell and Howell explained that this agreement demonstrates a broad collaboration between its companies to provide solutions that function across print and finishing operations, as well as drive superior value for its customers. He added that their partnership supports a commitment to provide best-in-class solutions that deliver impactful communications and operational excellence. The WebVision system is based on Bell and Howell’s JETVision technology, which is one of the most widely-deployed inspection systems in the industry, he also added.
Jeff Kewin, president of Lasermax Roll Systems, Americas, said that the continued union with Bell and Howell fortifies its delivery of production print-scale image inspection solutions in that Bell and Howell has proven to be the pre-eminent source of software development and skill in this arena. He added that they couldn't ask for a more able partner to help them fulfill the needs of their WebVision customers.
