Bell and Howell has announced new family of parcel management solutions to address the requirements of the growing e-commerce market.
This announcement has been made because lately consumers have shifted their purchasing habits to online ordering. Through the new offering, Bell and Howell is providing consolidators and Web-based retailers a cost-effective fulfillment solution.
Bell and Howell provides solutions and services for paper-based and digital messaging. The company is featuring its new family of parcel management solutions at Parcel Forum 2012 currently being held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare, Rosemont, IL, October 24-25.
Attendees will get to hear experts from Bell and Howell who will be available to discuss the full line of parcel and flats solutions. The standalone Bell and Howell ParcelMgr solution provides all material handling and controls required to process parcels for shipping requirements.
This solution can also be used as an integrated system focusing on shipping/receiving automation for retail distribution.
The Bell and Howell FlatsMgr system can incorporate other Bell and Howell solutions such as Accurant and BCC (News - Alert) Mail Manager address-quality and verification solutions.
“Our parcel management solutions are designed to eliminate labor-intensive handling associated with reading, weighing and labeling of parcels or flats, all of which waste time and add incremental costs to fulfillment operations,” said Rich Wojdyla, Bell and Howell vice president of business development for postal programs.
Bell and Howell was in the news earlier this month for announcing that it will distribute digital print quality assurance systems for WebVision North America.
