Unibased Systems Architecture has released ForSite2020 Version 7.07, an upgraded version that will help healthcare organizations to better coordinate healthcare service delivery.
Workflow and operational efficiency will be noticeably augmented, owing to the inclusion of Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook integration, ICD-10 compliance and enhanced patient payment estimation. The presence of Microsoft Outlook 2010 lets physicians, therapists and technicians to view upcoming schedules in their primary calendaring tool much more easily.
This feature highlights schedules categorized as “current,” “canceled” and “rescheduled,” while featuring appointment blocks and meetings that the provider enters in his/her Outlook calendar. This integration will ensure physician satisfaction and increased loyalty as all schedules are made accessible where the Outlook calendar is available.
Unibased’s insurance verification and patient payment estimation capabilities are flexible as well, and enable seamless coordination to enhance workflow and revenue.
To comply with regulatory requirements, ForSite2020 lets users collect a diagnosis code as either ICD-9 or ICD-10 for more proactive and accurate preparation.
According to officials, Unibased ForSite2020 v7.0 is an integrated solution delivering management processes like physician and consumer portals, physician order tracking, EMPI, registration, scheduling, conflict resolution, and so on.
In effect, ForSite2020 v7.0 monitors the effectiveness of clinical programs, financial productivity and capacity management, to enhance productivity and efficiency in healthcare delivery.
The ForSite2020 v7.0 surgery management module coordinates things like surgery procedures and surgeon preferences. The solution leverages its physician portal, automated order creation and business intelligence analytics to improve communication between hospitals and physicians.
It also validates patient demographics, patient’s current insurance eligibility checking and other facts.
In January 2012, Unibased announced its agreement with Bay Area Hospital (BAH) to expand the use of the ForSite2020 application suite to include ForSite2020 Resource Management System (RMS) for enterprise scheduling and access management, ForSite2020 Consumer Access and Scheduling for Healthcare (CASH) consumer portal for patient self-scheduling, and the ForSite2020 Fax Order Collection Utilization and Storage (FOCUS) fax management solution for addressing faxed physician orders.
