Integro (News - Alert), an award winning insurance brokerage and risk management firm for the transportation and logistics verticals, once again proved its commitment toward customer service excellence by offering its clients the benefits of a membership to one of the nation’s most trusted information sharing database---CargoNet. The initiative is aimed at helping clients mitigate cargo theft and supply chain interruption.
Verisk Crime Analytics’ CargoNet is an information-sharing system managed by crime analysts and subject matter experts. Based on a national database, CargoNet provides coordinated incident communications, recovery support, and deterrence measures to the user. The resources are leveraged by the CargoNet members to prevent cargo theft and improve chances of recovery.
Integro has reportedly forged a strategic alliance with CargoNet’s division of Verisk Crime Analytics, a provider of crime-prevention services for retailers, manufacturers, logistics companies, equipment owners, and insurance companies. Under the alliance, Integro will provide complimentary CargoNet membership to all its Logistics Liability Program clients. In a news statement, Integro maintained that the alliance will help reduce the risks associated with cargo theft for domestic property brokers.
A news statement revealed that Philip DiChiara, practice leader of Integro’s Trade & Logistics Practice, will join the CargoNet’s advisory board.
“CargoNet’s unique program adds considerable client value. This is yet another tangible example of Integro investing to build the logistics practice that sets the industry standard in client service. I look forward to working with CargoNet on further expanding its product offerings to transportation and logistics companies,” Philip DiChiara commented in a statement.
“This initiative demonstrates Integro’s willingness to do all that it can for its clients to mitigate cargo theft and supply chain interruption. Integro is clearly a thought leader, and we recognize the value in having a strategic alliance with such a company,” vice president of insurance services at CargoNet Garry Rivell noted in a statement.
