Cloud-Based OpSuite Retail Management Solution for Franchise Market Announced

In an effort to facilitate franchisees with a solution that provides visibility across all operations in real time, Davidson Richards – a provider of retail systems – has announced the official launch of its cloud-based retail management solution, OpSuite, to the franchise market.


Cashing in on the upward trend of hosting technologies, Davidson Richards developed the new open and flexible OpSuite cloud solution, a full-fledged retail management service available at a fraction of the traditional cost of ownership.

The new cloud-based OpSuite retail management solution for the franchise market is a low-cost solution that puts the franchisor in control by providing access to franchise-wide operational data from anywhere, at any time.

With this, franchisees have the flexibility to set their own prices as well as promotions, and enjoy an easy-to-use point of sale system.

Facilitating implementation across a franchise network of up to more than 100 sites with little capital expenditure, the OpSuite retail management solution transmits operational data from each franchise site – including data from alternative sales channels such as online and mobile – to a central database, in real time.

In addition, the OpSuite retail management solution ensures accurate royalty reporting and helps franchisor to instantly observe how best to manage stock and labor across the franchise, in order to reduce waste and maximize sales.

With the help of these cloud-based features, the OpSuite retail management solution allows a franchisee easy access to its own stock and sales data, as well as the freedom to sell products, run promotions and set prices that are unique to the site.

Expounding about the launch of OpSuite into the franchise market, Richard Goodley, CEO, Davidson Richards, said in a statement, "The solution is absolutely ideal for franchises where the franchisor needs visibility across all operations and the franchisees need to only access their own data.”

Davidson Richards is Microsoft (News - Alert) Corp.’s European RMS development partner. Last year, Clements and Church, an independent British tailor, had implemented the cloud-based OpSuite retail solution across its four stores and one warehouse.
