Net Suite, a provider of cloud-based financials / Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) business software suites, announced that NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson (News - Alert) will present at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference.
The event will be held at 11:40 am PT on Wednesday, February 16th, 2011, at The Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, CA.NetSuite (News - Alert) enables companies to manage core key business operations in a single system, which includes ERP, accounting, customer relationship management (CRM) and E-commerce. NetSuite's "real-time dashboard" technology provides an easy-to-use view into up-to-date, role-specific business information, according to company officials.
In July last year NetSuite announced a partnership with Sunway E-Systems (SES (News - Alert)), a Southeast Asian integrator of technology-enabled business transformation, and a subsidiary of the Sunway Group. The partnership gives SES the exclusive rights to distribute, resell, implement and support NetSuite's cloud computing business management suites in Malaysia.
A recent Gartner (News - Alert) survey found that Asia Pacific markets will adopt the sort of cloud computing offerings from companies such as NetSuite. In Malaysia, CRM and supply chain management were the next most popular applications for SaaS (News - Alert) after ERP.
In China, 50 percent of respondents indicated they had been using SaaS for more than four years, while in Malaysia, this figure exceeded 76 percent. Additionally a Springboard Research report says Asia Pacific organizations will spend close to $2.3 billion on cloud computing by 2012, a growth rate of 46 percent.
