Obihai, an innovative manufacturer of VoIP solutions, recently selected DSP Group’s (News - Alert) DVF99 VoIP SoC for its new line of IP phone models, the OBi1032 Manager and OBi1062 Professional.
Officials said that Obihai’s IP phones are powered by DSP Group’s DVF99 dual-ARM (News - Alert) processor, which integrates digital and analog functions in a single SoC.
The IP phones offer support for up to 24 lines, cloud integration, unparalleled HD voice quality, best-in class acoustics, large graphical color display, Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi (News - Alert) Connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet and PoE.

Based on a state-of-the-art multi-core architecture, the DVF99 SoC provides outstanding performance and includes DSP Group’s field-proven IPfonePro SDK, which is a Linux-based software platform that features security, enhanced graphics and exceptional HD audio.
Obihai’s OBi1032 and OBi1062 IP phones uses various DVF99 features like an on-board xVGA LCD controller, a 2D graphics processing unit, multiple DMA engines, power management, DDR3 and NAND Flash memory controllers, multiple USB ports, HD audio codecs, and crypto and security engines.
By effectively leveraging these features, the IP Phones are able to provide outstanding price-performance.

In March, Grandstream, a manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, chose DSP Group's DVF99 VoIP platform for its new GXP2140 and GXP2160 IP phone models.
