The Saudi travel agent, Kanoo Travel, opened a call center with women employees only. As per a report in Arab News, around 20 women employed by Kanoo Travel have completed telephone operation training and are now operating the company's first and exclusive ladies-only call center.
Speaking about the call center with Aran News, Ali Abdullah Kanoo, director of Kanoo Travel, said the company is one of the first travel agents in the Kingdom to have a ladies-only call center.
"Kanoo Travel is also one of the first travel companies in the country to introduce exclusive ladies centers," Kanoo is reported to have told Arab News.
"Kanoo Travel offers customers in Saudi Arabia a wide range of services which include state-of-the-art self booking tools and online travel management solutions for corporate customers, which help them save time and money by automating travel policy and quality control including travel security," he said.
Othman Al-Ghamdi, Kanoo Travel's general manager, said the call center has been widely appreciated across the Kingdom due to the high standards of services offered.
"Kanoo Travel encourages local talent, be it male or female, to join the travel industry by providing them tools, training and encouragement to be the leaders of tomorrow. Our motto is to offer international quality services with a local touch. Kanoo Travel not only offers corporate based packages but has also been creating attractive leisure and holiday packages for locals and expatriates in the Kingdom," Al-Ghamdi told Arab News.
Abdullah Abo Khamseen, Kanoo Travel's executive general manager said that Saudi Arabia is a very important market for Kanoo Travel.
Khamseen said that over the last few years, the company’s business has grown tremendously in the country and the company wants to ensure that it offers customers best-in-class professional travel management services using the latest technology with the best customer service.
“The opening of our new offices across the country is another example of our commitment toward our ever increasing base of customers in the Kingdom," he said.
