EthoSource, an office furniture management company, recently provided a new Lancaster law firm, Brubaker Connaughton Goss & Lucarelli LLC, with office furniture solutions that created a unique workspace that functions and looks according to the firm’s needs.

Brubaker Connaughton Goss & Lucarelli needed to furnish its space at Urban Place, a historic building in downtown Lancaster, PA, with a range of office furniture options. The firm also wanted to achieve an upscale look while balancing the costs of starting a new business, while also making the best use of the unique space.

So, the firm chose EthoSource, a used office furniture company in Morgantown, PA. Since EthoSource is a national office furniture liquidator, they have an inventory of a variety of office furniture to suit special needs. As refurbishers of the Herman Miller (News - Alert) Ethospace cubicles, they provide custom workspaces to companies, but it was the complete furniture management service that Brubaker Connaughton Goss & Lucarelli liked most.

“The thought of furnishing this entire law firm was such a daunting task to think about,” said a Brubaker Connaughton Goss & Lucarelli representative, in a statement. “But when we first met with Bob at EthoSource all our pressure was just taken away. It was very easy, manageable, stress free, and really just fun.”

EthoSource designers got to know the firm’s new office space and created a floorplan that maximized the entire e layout, taking into account oddly shaped rooms. Additionally, designers learned about the company’s workflow and designed a plan that used refurbished Herman Miller Ethospace cubicles, new seating, new executive desk sets, pre-owned filing cabinets, new conference tables, a reception station and even lobby furniture.

Since style was important in the furniture choice, with special touches like ‘50s style café furniture for casual seating and reception area furnishings with a deco vibe, the firm chose deep espresso-colored tables, black mesh ergonomic chairs, and high-contrast work surfaces to complement the brick inner walls and charm of the building.

An EthoSource representative explained, “The space is COOL, and we wanted the furnishings to fit with that. We took care of all the furnishing and left them to handle getting their new firm up and running, without having to worry about the office furniture.”

EthoSource designers are always as concerned about function as about form, so they ensured that every area, including private offices, had extra storage space. They even found a conference table that could function as a large meeting table, but also divide into smaller training tables when needed.
