Spredfast, a provider of the first enterprise-class social media management system, announced the release of Spredfast 2.0, which includes integration with customer relationship management (CRM) suite, Salesforce, an enhanced social media analytics dashboard, and Foursquare (News - Alert) integration.
“Even with the wealth of data available to companies through CRM and analytics platforms, organizations are still struggling to reconcile how activity in online communities impacts the information viewed from these tools,” said Ken Cho, Spredfast co-founder.
“Via integrations with Salesforce and location-based platforms, such as Facebook (News - Alert) Places and Foursquare, as well as an improved metrics dashboard, Spredfast 2.0 is designed to not only empower companies to have a comprehensive view of their social media activities but to also act on those conversations and activities that impact business,” Cho continued.
The new enhancements are designed to raise the bar for social media management systems, by empowering social media marketers to tie together client advocate data across CRM systems, perform advanced analysis on their campaigns with more efficiency, and leverage the hot space of location-based marketing.
With Spredfast 2.0, users can now also view refined and new metrics that prove ROI through improved content analysis, including engagement ratios, top content and time of day analysis. As a result, social teams are able to improve the effectiveness of their social campaigns. With data aggregated from several sources, users now have access to both micro and macro-level data with analysis categories ranging from key performance indicators to content level reports.
“I've waited years for a social media management platform that helps me easily manage, measure and analyze my customers’ social media campaigns in a secure environment via a web browser,” said Mark Nash of Great Web Strategies in a statement.
Spredfast has integrated with Foursquare and Gowalla to allow users to monitor for check-ins at their company locations and track this activity as a function of community engagement.
“The new Spredfast 2.0 is taking on the drudgery of keeping track of all the account information and all of the activity of hundreds of my clients’ social media accounts –- including those of their employees, vendors and others as needed -- across the initiative and streamlining the workflow in a singular, intuitive platform. This added project management ability to assign tasks across different time frames and have them reviewed before posting provides an ability to stay focused on the campaign in a way I never thought possible,” Nash continued.
Since publically launching in January 2010, Spredfast has seen significant growth in customers from a wide range of industries and with enterprises of all sizes. Prior to release of Spredfast 2.0, the company added the ability to mark influential people, create social profiles of those interacting with brands, integration with sentiment analysis platform Crimson Hexagon, as well as several other features.
