GMT Signs SCS Solutions as a Strategic Channel Partner in the U.K

GMT Corporation, a provider of enterprise workforce management and performance optimization solutions, announced it has formed a strategic channel partnership with SCS (News - Alert) Solutions, a leading U.K. contact center consultancy and hosted solutions provider.


Under the terms of the agreement, SCS Solutions will be entitled to market and sell GMT Planet workforce management (WFM) solution “as a service” to its customers.

“GMT's market leading, enterprise-wide WFM solutions fit perfectly with our vision of how all organizations, regardless of their size, can benefit from implementing WFO,” said Daryl Start, director of Transformation Services at SCS, in a statement.

“GMT’s WFM solution, combined with our experience of delivering service-based optimization projects, puts significant benefits in the reach of all organizations,” Start added. “We are excited to be working with GMT to help organizations unleash these benefits.”

The 'WFM as a service' is offered to organizations of all sizes. The companies think that the solution will also benefit the small and medium sized contact centers that have not been privileged to get access to hosted contact center services until recently. The companies believe these customers can enjoy substantial benefits from hosted Workforce Optimization (WFO) as it is more cost effective.

In addition to tangible cost savings, 'WFM as a service' offers compelling benefits like flexibility, pay-as-you-use, instant upgrades and improvement in business continuity. This results in lack of dependence on agent location. In addition the 'WFM as a service' provides absolute security.

“Well managed contact centers have the potential to generate significant business value. However, far too often, budgetary constraints mean that this potential remains untapped as organizations are unable to invest in specialist expertise and solutions,” said Keir Woolhouse, director of Europe, Middle East and South Africa sales for GMT.

“Together, GMT and SCS provide access to best-in-class workforce management quickly and cost-effectively,” Keir added. “The breadth and depth of SCS' client base, their technological expertise and our shared vision of WFO makes SCS the perfect partner to help deliver WFM-derived value to UK based organizations.”

Back in April, GMT Corp announced it has forged a strategic reselling agreement with IP Integration, a provider of business communication solutions to market and sell the GMT Planet workforce optimization solution.
