Acer Veriton N2110G Thin Clients are Now Citrix Ready HDX Verified

Citrix HDX technology delivers a high definition desktop virtualization user experience to end users for any application, device or network. Citrix Ready HDX verified solutions are capable of working with all of the HDX technology in Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix XenApp.
Acer (News - Alert) America, an information and communication technology company dedicated to the research, design, marketing, sale and support of innovative solutions, announced it has just achieved Ready HDX verified certification or its Veriton N2110G thin clients running the Devon Terminal Operating System (DeTOS) for the Window Embedded Standard 7 (WES7) operating system.
Following this certification, Acer Veriton N2110G has been verified to work with all of the HDX technology in Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix XenApp. According to Joe Makoid, president, Devon IT, a provider of thin client software to advance capabilities of virtual desktop computing, Veriton N Series thin client solutions provide an excellent experience for demanding users who require multi-monitor support and high-definition video, and use high throughput devices such as VoIP headsets.
Veriton N2110G thin clients feature powerful discrete graphics and low power consumption enabling organizations to meet the needs of their virtual desktop deployments. N2110G, combined with Devon IT's software, extends HDX capabilities to deliver a high-definition user experience and expand the ability of organizations to offer virtual desktops to a wide variety of users, company officials said.

The Acer Veriton N2110G Series thin clients are highly configurable stateless devices with no moving parts. They bring significant savings in power costs when compared to traditional desktops. They support dual DisplayPorts with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600. Both VGA and DVI adapters are also available as options.

- Alert) G-T56N processor and features up to 4GB memory and AMD Radeon HD 6320 graphics for exceptional multimedia capabilities. It also comes with four USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0 ports.
