Appcara (News - Alert), a provider of Citrix application performance monitoring and management services, has achieved a major milestone in its efforts to enhance the performance of Citrix-based applications.
The company’s flagship AppStack cloud application platform has been now verified as Citrix Ready. The company achieved the Citrix Ready status after completing a rigorous verification process that ensured compatibility with Citrix CloudPlatform.
The partnership will help simplify and streamline enterprise cloud application deployment, according to Appcara officials.
Following this certification, Appcara is now able to work closely with others in the Citrix Ready partner ecosystem that helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix Systems (News - Alert).
With Citrix Ready for CloudPlatform status, AppStack can help enterprise and service provider customers expedite the deployment of business applications to public and private clouds. They can identify complementary products and solutions that can enhance Citrix environments as well.
Additionally, customers can rest assured that AppStack can be trusted to work effectively with CloudPlatform to enable Citrix applications services for service provider delivery on their CloudPlatform-based infrastructure services (IaaS), or directly by enterprise users to accelerate their application management in the cloud.
One of the main benefits of this partnership is that customers can now provision and manage multi-tier and distributed apps that formerly were restricted to on-premises resources as cloud-based solutions. They can even simplify big data workloads such as Hadoop in clouds.
Further, they get access to enterprise app marketplaces, with pre-packaged applications in a wide variety of categories. The multi-cloud support allows Citrix CloudPlatform users to move cloud workloads from non-Citrix public and private clouds into CloudPlatform.
“It’s still far too complex and time-consuming to launch and manage big distributed applications into the cloud,” said John Yung (News - Alert), CEO and founder, Appcara, in a statement. “Becoming a member of the Citrix Ready program demonstrates our commitment to work closely with others in the Citrix Ready partner ecosystem to simplify and streamline enterprise cloud application deployment.”
