TMC (News - Alert) announced that the Cloud Communications Summit will take place during the ITEXPO in Miami, Florida between Feb. 2 and Feb. 4, 2011.

The third iteration of the summit will be moderated by Thomas Howe and is expected to guide businesses on how to leverage and integrate cloud based communications applications and network-based communications interfaces and architectures.

Also the event will help business professionals understand cloud based communications business models; market trends and large-scale deployment efforts.

According to TMC sources the conference content will show how systems integrators are monetizing the delivery of cloud communications services. TMC proposes to showcase with specific examples how domestic and international service providers address the cloud communications market.

The sessions to be featured during the 2011 Miami Event include Cloud Communications: A Beginner’s Guide and SMB Cloud Communications: What’s Hot and what’s Not?

Also to be included are sessions on how to increase profits with cloud communications, Mobile Clouds and a session on “The Business of Cloud Communications: A Cloud Comm. Business Leader Roundtable. “

“Dark Clouds: Can You Trust the Cloud? Latency, Security and Availability” is expected to throw light on various issues associated with cloud communications. Another session titled “Will the Cloud Kill the PBX (News - Alert)? Or Will it Kill the Channel?” will also be offered at the summit.
