UltiPro Workplace has announced that its human capital management (HCM) SaaS (News - Alert) solutions for global businesses has been selected by Industrial Finishes & Systems, Inc., Emerald Performance Materials, LLC, and Valley Fine Foods.

The automotive collision, recreation vehicle, panel, and cabinet markets in 33 states and Canada will now get finishing solutions from the company. For HR, payroll, time management, and recruitment, Industrial Finishes & Systems turned to UltiPro Workplace–delivered in one single, consistent solution in November 2010., the company stated in a press release.

Ultimate was the first HR SaaS vendor to be ISO/IEC (News - Alert) 27001 certified in 2008. Ultimate has more than 2,100 customers representing diverse industries, including such organizations as Adobe Systems Incorporated, The Container Store, and Culligan International.

“In the HCM marketplace, Ultimate is a pioneer in cloud-based technology and services. But UltiPro’s SaaS solution delivery and dependability is only half the story,” said Chris Phenicie, senior vice president of UltiPro Workplace. “Today, we’re seeing more and more customers select UltiPro not just for the benefits of cloud delivery, but because UltiPro is a mature solution that delivers the depth of functionality and strategic tools they need to optimize HCM.”

Ohio-based Emerald Performance Materials, LLC, selected UltiPro in November 2010 after evaluating a number of HCM offerings. This included a full range of HCM capabilities that the company hadn’t previously had available, as well as the solution’s cloud-based delivery. California-based Valley Fine Foods selected UltiPro and went live in January 2011. The company now has data in one single system-of-record that comes with the predictable, affordable pricing structure of SaaS, Ultipro stated.

Recently, the company announced that payroll, HR, compensation management and recruitment processes of Equipment Depot will be consolidated into one unified solution. Parts for top brands of forklifts, aerial lifts, and construction equipment are sold, serviced, rented and provided by the diversified equipment dealership, Equipment Depot. Handling the full scope of human capital management is a challenging proposition for Equipment Depot as it has over 1,450 people employed across 13 states.
