Telesphere (News - Alert), a nationwide provider of cloud communications services, has seen continued success year after year despite economic downturn. Now, Telesphere officials are spreading the word that the company is ready to continue to ride the momentum and expand its presence in the hosted space.

Telesphere, a company that also provides hosted PBX (News - Alert), VoIP, data and managed Cloud-based Internet communications services, helps small and medium businesses (SMB) and enterprises receive the extensive service and features typically only available to larger corporations. Officials recently announced that the cloud communications company is well-positioned to take advantage of both the rebounding economy in the United States and the growing preference for converged cloud-based services.

“We’re seeing steady growth from customers who need full-featured business communications services as they add employees,” said Telesphere CEO Clark Peterson in a statement. “But these customers also are migrating from older and somewhat dated on-premises solutions to managed communications as a service (CaaS) that are delivered from the cloud, with no upfront capital expenditure required on their part as they expand their current operations, add remote workers or open new locations.”

While other companies reeled the past couple of years because of the economic recession, Telesphere managed to find success even in a down economy. Over the past five years, the cloud communications provider has received $50 million in venture backing – funding that will also help the company see future growth.

Telesphere has also been able to rely on its extensive partnerships, particularly its strategic alliance with VoIP technology provider Broadsoft. The two companies work closely together in developing a wide array of necessary business functionality that customers can avail themselves of easily.

“We’re making it easy to change the way businesses communicate by taking what can be a very complex process if they do it themselves and simplifying everything greatly by selecting the right systems and platform to offer a highly flexible and affordable solution that can accommodate rapid growth,” Peterson said.
