The joint solution will allow enterprises with existing investments in data center and private cloud infrastructure to launch Cloud Steelhead in the Amazon EC2 and Terremark clouds with point-and-click simplicity. In addition, the solution will enable automatic integration of Cloud Steelhead with on-premise Riverbed infrastructure for optimized network performance regardless of a customer's network architecture.

Moreover, the solution will ensure full isolation and encryption of all applications, networks and data in the cloud.

Users can download the CloudSwitch Enterprise software appliance and the companies claim that it installs easily into VMware and Xen environments.
