Cloud communications leader Telesphere (News - Alert) has been paving the way in the cloud industry for a number of years, offering a variety of telephony, network service, unified messaging, call center and conferencing solutions in the cloud.

While the benefits of Telesphere’s cloud communications services have always been well articulated, Telesphere is enjoying more success than ever before as individuals begin to endorse and adopt the cloud more than they ever have before, according to company officials.

“In the last six to eight months, there has been a very large shift to cloud interest,” Telesphere’s CEO Clark Peterson told TMCnet. “We’ve been out there for six years advocating cloud based services, but now there is a major shift.”

“We feel it is the year of the cloud,” he added.

Peterson’s sentiments appear to be right on as recent reports echo that cloud is the wave of the future, particularly for small and medium businesses (SMBs). This month, IDC reported that worldwide revenue for servers deployed to public clouds will reach $3.6 billion in 2015 while private cloud server revenue will reach $5.8 billion. Why are we seeing such large numbers suddenly? Because IT managers are more eager than ever to simplify their current IT infrastructures and find new ways to enjoy cost savings and increased efficiencies.

Telesphere, a company that advocates to consumers to adopt its “Telesphere Difference,” was set up specifically to address SMB concerns and help them enjoy the “extensive service and features” generally available only to larger corporations—all without the “cost, hassle, and limitations of traditional systems,” according to company officials.

Over the past few years, however, Telesphere’s sweet spot has moved from just the SMBs to the mid-market as well particularly as the features of the cloud expand rapidly.

“The power of the cloud has shifted from different hosted services out there that weren’t integrated to cloud services that are integrated and that is what harnesses the power of the cloud,” Peterson said. “People who didn’t trust the cloud before trust it more now.”

And because people trust the cloud more, the amount of partnerships with hosted providers is increasing rapidly, according to Peterson.

Recently, Telesphere and World Telecom Group (News - Alert) (WTG) formed a partnership to provide a broad range of cloud-based business communication solutions to the enterprise and SMB markets. WTG is the number one Master Agent in the U.S, providing “exceptional” service to agent partners and offering a diverse portfolio with over 100 Providers, including local, long-distance, data and Internet, according to company officials.

This new partnership is expected to help the company’s Cloud Division to diversify the range of services it can offer with Telesphere’s portfolio of cloud-based business communication solutions available for resale by WTG and its agents.
