Telx, an interconnection and data center provider in North America, announced that Rhythmic Technologies has joined the Telx cloudXchange, deploying from Telx’s New York City Cloud Connection Center.

Cristopher Daniluk, President, Rhythmic Technologies said in a release, “Once we decided that New York City was the location we wanted to deploy a major connectivity hub, we knew that Telx’s Cloud Connection Center at 111 8th Ave. was the best choice.”

“We chose Telx as our cloud connectivity partner in New York City because of the flexibility to work with the carriers we want, as well as the scalability to add the bandwidth capacity we need. With Telx, we can control our connectivity, allowing us to give our customers better performance,” Daniluk added.

This is expected to further help the company expand its coverage for the east coast while maintaining high levels of network uptime and availability. Rhythmic Technologies will be using the expanding ecosystem of service providers and enterprise networks in the Telx cloudXchange, to serve its end-users better. It will now be able to offer secure and direct access to its on-demand applications ensuring an “on-premise” Quality of Experience.

Rhythmic Technologies a provider of full-service, on-demand infrastructure architecture, IT implementation and operations services for the enterprise also offers cloud infrastructure and on-demand applications to clients across the United States.

Its on-site services are available to enterprise clients in Washington D.C., Northern Virginia and upper Maryland. By leveraging Telx’s Cloud Connection Center, Rhythmic can now extend its service delivery footprint to New York City and surrounding regions, said officials.

Rhythmic Technologies is a cloudXchange member and uses Telx’s carrier choice within the strategically-located, carrier-dense New York City Cloud Connection Center. The connectivity alternatives within Telx’s carrier and cloud-neutral facilities offer the flexibility required for any type of cloud computing deployment model.

Rhythmic can quickly and cost-effectively enter key urban markets besides enhancing performance by moving mission-critical infrastructure to a secure Telx Cloud Connection Center. This brings the cloud closer to the end-user, and eliminates service delivery lag time thereby enhancing end-user experience.

Telx officials added that the company’s responsive, dedicated customer service model has enabled Rhythmic to optimize cloud QoE post-deployment by letting them “scale up” in accordance with cloud computing offerings. The Telx cloudXchange helps providers choose the best carrier for their needs, with the required latency besides being able to change carriers easily if latency or customer connectivity requirements change.

Telx recently announced that GigeNET, a leading cloud services provider delivering dedicated, hosted servers and custom solutions for the enterprise, has chosen Telx’s Los Angeles Cloud Connection Center to further its expansion plan for the West coast while maintaining high levels of network uptime and availability.
