Telesphere (News - Alert), a nationwide provider of managed cloud communications, has formed a partnership with Digital Planet, a National Master Agency, to deliver managed cloud communications services to U.S. businesses.
Digital Planet, who has now joined Telesphere’s master agent network, will market and sell Telesphere’s private, hosted voice, data and video services to businesses throughout the U.S. market. These include business-grade, cloud-based services including videoconferencing, unified communications, VoIP, Internet connectivity, WAN management and call center solutions.
Digital Planet’s customers benefit from Telesphere’s nationwide network, with points of presence from New York to Los Angeles. It offers a private, fully managed MPLS network designed to ensure reliable high-quality services and a simple, cost-effective way to deliver videoconferencing and telepresence to mid to large business customers.
Further, Telesphere's team of dedicated network engineers and indirect channel managers will support Digital Planet agents and partners to enable fast provisioning and a consistently high-quality user experience, the company said.
"Digital Planet's decision to invest in hosted communications solutions highlights that it's a progressive master agency," said Jeff Savage, Telesphere vice president of sales, in a statement. "We're excited to work with a company that's so aggressively pursuing the cloud opportunity and, just as important, understands that business-grade hosting is key to attracting and retaining business customers.”
According to Shawn Schmidt, Digital Planet president and founder, the addition of Telesphere to their portfolio of services enables their agents and partners that currently lack an equipment offering to now offer a complete communication solution to their clients. “As communications technologies converge, if your offering is not complete, you are not going to survive."
Back in June, Telesphere announced a similar partnership with master agent World Telecom Group (News - Alert) to deliver Telesphere’s cloud communications services including VoIP, Internet access, WAN connectivity, unified communications, call center platforms and video conferencing to SMBs and enterprises.
