In an announcement made by Uniserve Communications Corporation, two months of free access to the Uniserve Cloud is being offered to users. Users only need to have a computer which can run as a server. Powered by Joyent Software, the Uniserve Cloud is one of the top public cloud platforms in Canada.

In a release, Bruce Sanderson, president of Uniserve said, “Whether you're a web app developer or a Python or Ruby coder, our 1 GB SmartMachine is ideal for anyone looking for an application platform.”

According to Sanderson, Uniserve is able to deliver an easy to use, fast, and reliable cloud solution hosted in Canada by leveraging the six plus years of Joyent’s experience in the cloud computing space. Uniserve’s SmartMachines are a highly optimized, virtual compute container with guaranteed resources. Unlike other providers, users can experience burstability, elasticity, and speed with Uniserve’s SmartMachines.

The free Beta trial is expected to spread the word about Uniserve’s new cloud offering. According to Sanderson, the organization is very excited about their cloud product. Sanderson said, “We know we are using the best Cloud platform in Canada which is why we are looking for users who want to take the Uniserve Cloud for a free test drive. We know once you do, you'll be hooked.”

Users can take advantage of the Free Beta offer from Uniserve until November.
