FreeCRM.com, one of the world's largest cloud based CRM provider, has been selected to compete in CRM Idol 2011.
Officials with FreeCRM.com said that the company was selected to compete with over 40 other vendors of CRM and social CRM software for prizes and the title "CRM Idol 2011."
CRM Idol 2011 is the first year competition that is designed to help small "CRMish" software companies get not only a moment in the sun, but have access to some of the top influencers and thought leaders in CRM and, if they are lucky enough to make the finals and even win, get access to tools, publicity, subject matter expertise and potentially partnerships and money that could propel them to success.
According to company officials, FreeCRM.com, which was founded in 2003 provides a broad free CRM suite for up to 50 users in an advertisement-supported model.
Company officials said that businesses who wish to upgrade to the Professional version can do so and receive an enhanced product and service -- unlimited storage space, unlimited email campaigning, enhanced features such as Outlook sync, iPhone, Android (News - Alert) and BlackBerry sync, sales pipeline management, customer service tracking, and of course powerful sales lead management and pipeline forecasting.
With an upcoming product release to include support for Chinese and Spanish, Twitter (News - Alert) and Facebook support as well as other enhancements and updates including a new streamlined interface and others, this year is going to be an incredible year for FreeCRM.com as it vies for the crown in the CRM Idol 2011 competition.
