Datawatch Becomes Amazon Web Services Standard Technology Partner

Datawatch Corporation, a provider of information optimization software and services, is strengthening of its ties with Amazon Web Services (News - Alert) (AWS) to receive a number of valuable benefits offered by the Amazon Partner Network (APN) as a Standard Technology Partner.


The AWS Partner Network is a program that allows potential AWS customers to easily locate valuable partners that can help harness the power of AWS Cloud.

Datawatch has two product offerings as part of its Information Optimization solution set that utilize the Amazon Web Services' infrastructure: Datawatch Enterprise Server - Cloud and Datawatch Report Manager On-Demand - Cloud (RMOD Cloud).

Datawatch Enterprise Server – Cloud provides the ability for organizations to transform, integrate, manage, secure and analyze information of all types whether it resides in structured, unstructured or semi-structured sources like PDF files, EDI streams and reports. Datawatch Report Manager On-Demand (RMOD) - Cloud helps your enterprise meet its growing information needs by offering powerful, centralized management of document images, reports, customer correspondence, statements and more. It can also be integrated with Web portals, giving customers, agents and brokers the option of secure, self-service access to their statements, trade confirmations, reports and other account documents.

Harvey Gross, vice president and chief technology officer of Datawatch, said in a statement, “Working with AWS, Datawatch delivers highly scalable Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) system with high availability, dependability and built-in disaster recovery. Datawatch Enterprise Server allows Monarch, part of Datawatch’s information optimization suite, customers to effortlessly move their existing models and applications to the cloud to be shared with more users without the need to purchase or implement new hardware.  Datawatch's cloud solution allows them to develop and deploy information optimization applications that can access a wider variety of data sources and provides these organizations with a 360-degree view of their businesses to improve processes and analyze more types of information.

Gross added, "By using Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud, Datawatch is able to deliver worldwide availability of software services, certified Level 1 data centers, scalability to meet peak load demands and a compliant computing infrastructure so that we can concentrate on providing world class software and services to our customers."
