SalesAgility, an open-source consultancy with a focus on delivering means to leverage the Community Edition of SugarCRM (News - Alert), recently launched a number of key components to its advanced family of SugarCRM extensions.
The new components include Advanced OpenWorkflow (AOW), Advanced OpenSales (AOS), and Advanced OpenPortal (AOP).
Greg Soper, chief executive officer at SalesAgility, remarked, “We’re delighted to have all these world-class open-source extensions available to the huge Community Edition user base. With these extensions installed, CE equals and may exceed the functionality of SugarCRM Professional. And that's without having to spend tens of thousands of dollars in license fees every year.”
According to SalesAgility, the newly released Advanced OpenWorkflow (AOW) is the first open-source workflow module available for SugarCRM. It features a simple, elegant interface that lets even the non-expert users build powerful automated processes. AOW is free to download and 100-percent compliant with the SugarCRM architecture. It is elegantly engineered, robust and fully-featured. The architecturally coherent nature conforms to SugarCRM best practices for software development.
The Advanced OpenSales (AOS) component is a result of years of continuous development and innovation. AOS delivers powerful quotations, products, contracts, invoices and PDF template modules to the Community Edition of SugarCRM. AOS is also completely upgrade-safe and conforms 100 percent to SugarCRM’s architectural requirements.
The Advanced OpenPortal (AOP) is said to be an architecturally cohesive Joomla Component that uses the SugarCRM REST API to communicate with SugarCRM. It enables robust integration between open-source content management system Joomla and open-source customer relationship management platform SugarCRM.
The AOP is going to be the portal for SugarCRM Community Edition and can be easily extensible to expose other CE modules such as keads, opportunities or quotes.
